No Scouts 18th May 2009
There will be no scouts on Monday 18th May due to the school holidays. Scouts will return on Monday the 25th May.
Night Hike Camp Saturday 30th May
Our next camp will be a night hike across the Pentlands.
We will be starting from Threipmuir Reservoir car park at 6:45pm.
The hike will take us over the Pentlands and staying in Carsewell Guide cap site near Silverburn.
The cost will be £7.00 each.
This will be part of the Zodiac award and also an opportunity to gain the first stage of the Hikes Away badge.
District Flag Competition
Well done to the scouts that took part in the District Flag competition. The main part of the competition was an incident hike on Saturday afternoon.

Cub Camp 12-14th June
The cubs are camping at Auchengillan camp site between 12th – 14th June. We will go along at some point for our Zodiac award. Details will follow soon.
Summer Camp – Rydal Hall, Ambleside
20th – 26th July
Our summer camp this year is to Rydal Hall in Ambleside, the Lake District.
The cost of the camp will be £100.00
There is a deposit of £20.00 required now (some of you have already paid this deposit).
We will be taking the opportunity to do water sports and walking in the Lakes.
The final payment of £80.00 will be due on Monday 22nd June.
District Camp – Fordel Firs
18th- 20th September
The District Scout camp is being held at Fordel Firs near Inverkeithing.
This will be similar to the Blast Off camp last year with lots of activities such as Water sports, mountain biking, climbing.
The cost is £45.00
A deposit is required now of £20.00 (some have already paid this).
The final payment of £25.00 is required by Monday 22nd June.
