Directions to Carsewell Camp Site

Grid Ref: OS Sheet 66 213 597
Take the A702 to Silverburn, in the village turn sharp left (signposted Penicuik) continue to the end of this road – there’s a few tight bends so watch for the dog walkers! Turn left then first right down the drive marked “Penicuik House- Private” The site is on the right about 400m down the drive just past the woodmill.

The campsite is part of the Penicuik estate owned by Sir Robert Clark. There is no access to the campsite via the main estate entrance and parking on the verges is not permitted, so once you reach the campsite, pull on to the field and round to the right past the huts – you can then exit onto the main road via the sawmill entrance.
